Well, I have been working hard on a new website. I just started working on it about 3 days ago, but feel like I have spent the entire 72 hours trying to set things up.

My new photo project was an inspiration from www.tampachanging.com and thought it was a great idea to do the same for Richmond! Well, things are moving slow, but I will post with some pictures of my progress here as well as let you guys know when the site is ready for the public.

A Day at the Gardens

So my wife and I went got to spend the day at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens with a couple friends this past Sunday. It was a great day to spend the day and take some pictures. Plus, they have this great glass arts display going on until January of next year.

It’s amazing what people can do with their imaginations and glass! What’s more amazing are the flowers created by the ultimate artist. The botanical gardens here in Richmond, VA is one of the hidden treasures around here and is where I proposed to my wife.

Take a look at some of the pictures and make some time to go visit the gardens, especially with the glass art still on display.

Independence Day

What an exciting weekend! My wife and I have been taking MY 72 hour vacation to do some relaxing. We got to ride our new Christ Cycles pictured below, have a cook out and go see fireworks… twice.

We also had a great time at Red Bird Farm for a water baptism on the lake with our church (Commonwealth Chapel).

Eric & Julia Engagement

“I want to look like a Goddess!” This was the phrase Julia used when she described what she wanted her wedding to be like. This weekend was an exciting time, being out on my Christ Cycle, going to the new drive in, and shooting engagement pictures for Eric and Julia. Meeting the cute couple in person and hanging out with them on a hot Sunday afternoon, I knew their lives would be so fun and exciting. There was always a moment of smiling and laughter between them and you can’t help but join in with them.

Eric and Julia are not only passionate about each other, but they also share the same passion in their faith as well as Richmond. It felt like I had known them for years.
I am so excited to capture their love for each other and be a witness to what God is doing in people’s lives.

Blog take 2…

Well I haven’t been blogging as much and if anyone’s noticed in the past few days, my website looks different and I’m missing some pictures on the blog.
I have been changing a lot of things around and I am so excited. I didn’t feel like going back to every post and adding pictures so I decided to start anew with the entries.

Web design is a little annoying for me, but it’s very rewarding when you get the results you want. I am almost there. Thanks to a ton of people being supportive with my photography, I am moving forward with taking it serious and I hope to keep the things rolling.

My wife surprised me with a new messenger bag for my camera equipment and life couldn’t get any better. To prove that to you, here are a few of my recent pictures I have been taking.
